Bio

As one of the youngest Florida Bar board-certified civil trial lawyers and members of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), partner Tom Harmon focuses his attention primarily on personal injury, wrongful death, and professional liability cases with an emphasis on nursing home/assisted living facility negligence and traumatic brain injury litigation.

He has earned certification from the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial Law and has been awarded the highest rating of AV® from Martindale-Hubbell®.

Mr. Harmon served on the board of directors of the Florida Justice Association from 2001 to 2004 and is a certified member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, having obtained 17 verdicts or settlements in excess of $1 million and four verdicts or settlements in excess of $5 million.

He was named one of the top 40 lawyers in the Tampa Bay area under the age of 40 by the Tampa Bay Review and one of Florida’s “Legal Elite” (top 1.7% of lawyers in the state named by their peers) by Florida Trend magazine. Mr. Harmon began his career with the law firm of Fowler White, P.A. in Tampa, Florida.

Mr. Harmon and his wife, DeAnna, have four children: Kendall, Thomas, Chandler, and Lucas.
