In 2019, there were a grand total of 400,048 crashes. Out of those crashes, there were a total of 3,176 fatalities. Additionally, there were a total of 254,058 injuries as a result of the crashes.

In 2018, there were a grand total of 403,626 crashes. Out of those crashes, there were a total of 3,135 fatalities. Additionally, there were a total of 255,353 injuries as a result of the crashes.
When comparing the data from 2018 to 2019, there aren’t very many large discrepancies, which shows that road safety hasn’t improved enough in the past year to prevent people from getting hurt on the road.
